Yeah...he gives her a lot of credit. If she wasn't there, he'd likely have died by now or at least be living in what I call the "waiting for it to end" state.

I've worked for many people that are old and single...if there is a spouse, they're lucky. If not, then some do just fine but others deteriorate. I've never worked for a single one that had forgetfulness or dementia...I suppose they don't think too much about painting?

Living with someone that you have to watch constantly would be epic hard. Everything's a trade off, huh?...live alone and be strong or live with someone and hope you don't turn into a nurse.
