Thread: What annoyed you at work today?

  1. #21
Scott...you had inquired if I did the drywall work. I do not. I'll patch holes and cracks, but not large scale...I hate drywall work, as it's messy and usually requires masking. I LOATHE masking!

I just stick to painting. My van is already full of tools of my trade, and if you get into doing "other stuff" then you'll need all the tools for that as well. The worst job in the world, IMO, is a "handyman"...primarily because you need to have every tool know to mankind on hand and it can be hard to determine what a lot of repair jobs will cost because a can of worms is so frequently opened. I get "kidnapped" for that kind of stuff quite frequently...as the lady of the house will see me with a pair of pliers in my hand and they go apeshit with the honey-do list that has been piling up.

These folks got lucky as the guy they hired did really nice drywall work...perfect with the patches. They initially wanted the big ceiling the same color as the walls like before but I talked them into the ceiling being white...really opens the room up.

    On to the next one...
Suddenly my feet are feet of mud
    It all goes slo-mo
    I don't know why I am crying
    Am I suspended in Gaffa?
