Summer Trails Crew Youth Jobs- Pleasant Grove Ranger District
This is a great opportunity for youth looking for a summer job. They will learn a lot about trails and our Forests. Several friends' kids have done this and loved it! Pleasant Grove Ranger District. Forest trails crew, working American Fork Canyon to Payson Canyon. Ranger Larson and Ranger Gray are both awesome to work with! PM me if you'd like an application. Details:
"The YCC Crew is an 8-10 Week Program, starting the week of June 5th and running until the 3rd or the 17th of August. Due to the short duration, this program is not a good fit for youth with time off needs greater than a week during that timeframe. Employees will do work on both the Spanish Fork and Pleasant Grove Ranger Districts.
We have had a fantastic YCC crew the last five years and are looking forward to building on those successes this year. The application is attached to this email, or printed copies will be available at our offices. Applications need to be submitted by 4:30 pm on Tuesday March 26, 2019.
We will be hosting a YCC open house Wednesday March 27th 3-5:30. This is an opportunity for you and your parent(s) to come and meet us and learn more about the two programs and ask any questions you may have. If you are under 18 a parent must attend with you. This is a very important opportunity, if for some reason you cannot make it please email us so that we can set up a time for a call to discuss the program with you and your parent in more detail.
Please share far and wide with your contacts, if anyone has questions about the Trails/Wilderness positions please contact Aaron Larson, 801-796-4904 or aaronmlarson@fs.fed.us. If they have questions about the Developed Recreation/Dispersed Recreation positions please contact Gary Gray, 801-796-4892 or gcgray@fs.fed.us.
We will be accepting applications starting now until Tuesday March 26th until 4:30 p.m."

Summer Trails Crew Youth Jobs- Pleasant Grove Ranger District
That’s cool, and it’s a good service to public.
Do other counties have trail committees do you know?
I think something like this could be beneficial for Davis County.
