Yeah, it's almost like saying that it was just "locker room talk". They'll figure something out, that's for sure.

What do you do when you accidentally tell the truth for the first time in years? Apologize for it, of course.

Two. They desperately need a ‘bad guy’ to bash in order to feel relevant. Lately their target that they have been focusing on hoping to take his spot is Tucker Carlson, even going so far as calling him the ‘new Trump’, simply because they don’t have another prominent conservative figure to bash on a daily basis. Wondering how long until they try ‘recruiting’ Gov Ron DeSantis for that role.

Remember the good old days when your morning began with a cup of coffee, followed by 6 or 7 Trump tweets shitting all over the Fake News, and than you filled up your gas tank for $19?

Yeah...check out their channel. Some of it's a bit hippy-dippy...but overall the authors aren't buying into the bullshit. It's refreshing and some of the comments are quite interesting, too.
I ditched cable TV after the "election"...it was kinda weird at first but now I can't imagine living in a house with one of those things going on a regular basis. It really is useless for anything other than a BluRay movie every now and then. A few Youtube videos and the weather forecast is really all you need. The end of the world for some...

I was talking to a socialist minded friend of mine about this very subject a few months ago...and she made it clear that an individual, especially in today's society, would be selfish and cruel. She expressed great concern about the poor, the homeless, the disenfranchised...and insisted they would suffer even greater without the benevolence of the state to watch over them. She considers her political ideology as a contribution to the common good.
I stressed that she's being tricked, lied too and manipulated..."How's that working for you?" I said. While not directly acknowledging that, she said "I vote for them because they say they care". It occurred to me that she feels there's only two choices and she picks the one that's least objectionable, warts and all.
Which is funny, because I do the same thing. I would say having faith in our political leaders is futile...because those such as myself that nod approvingly in regards to this video may in fact be overwhelmed by those who see the crush of humanity as being out of control and in need of strict management. She wants to "throw her arms around the world"...and towards that end will crawl into bed with the devil.
It's a daunting task...trying to convince people that their "sense of caring" is being used as a weapon against them as they acknowledge such a thing yet feel there's no other way. My sense is that they're "addicted"...to love, compassion, care...and the fuel for that desire is being provided by a nefarious drug dealer who literally contains those emotions (while noble) into what may as well be a pack of cigarettes, a needle or a bottle.
The end of the world for some...
The foundation of paradise for others.

There's been a Dennis Prager video out there for a few years that sums this up. He simply describes one of the biggest differences between the left and the right in this manner: The left focuses on what policies and actions makes them 'feel good' - if someone proposes policies that on the surface looks like compassion and helping others and it makes them feel good that they are doing something for those that are struggling, that's what they want to support. The right will usually ask - 'But, does it actually DO good. The left falls in love with policies such as raising the minimum wage, free college, rent rate limits, etc. because they feel it helps those that are struggling financially. They only look at the surface of what those policies are intended to do, and ignore the externalities, unintended consequences of those policies. The right looks deeper than the surface and these issues and policies and says: OK, suppose we do this - AND THEN WHAT? What happens as a result to the market as a result of initiating these policies? When you start looking at the overall affect and ripple of what happens when you enact these socialist policies, you begin to see and realize that it actually makes things worse, especially for those that that the policies are trying to help. But the left doesn't want to acknowledge those affects or look that deep into the issue. They just feel good when they stick to looking at just the surface and what the intended purpose of the policy is - especially if they feel the affect of the policy won't impact them much at all.
