Sadly does look like serious polling momentum for Biden. I think he'll take Texas and come close in CA, if not take it. This speaks to the media's power more than anything. Which bodes ill for Nov and the country's future. Curious that Warren isn't/didn't drop/ping out. Her votes would have gone a long way to shoring up Sanders.

Bernie has the largest support and again he'll get screwed by the DNC, and his supporters will just take it again.

Yep. Several candidates all pull out just days before Super Tuesday, and then turn around and immediate endorse Biden. And Biden also picks up Beta (rememeber that cool skater guy from Texas) to head up his coelition to fight gun violence and enact gun control. No - there's no back door deals being done here by the DNC to prop up Creepy Joe. Nothing to see here.

What I can't understand is...of all the candidates to back, why Biden? Biden is so terrible that my hardcore Democrat friends hold their noses every time his name is mentioned. He honestly looks and acts like he has onset dementia. My grandma died of Alzheimer's and I can recognize some of her early symptoms in Biden.

Why Biden? The answer to that is simple. He is the only Democratic candidate that stands a snowball's chance of beating Trump, so at least Democrats will show up to vote.

What the DNC fears most is not losing the presidency, but losing the house. With Sanders's at the top of the ticket that is a real possibility, with Biden at the top the Democrats can probably keep the house.

What you see happening in the DNC at the moment is all about the down ballot candidates.

Fair to say we're all coming to the realization looks like Dems pulled their act together at the last minute?

Meh.... we shall see.... It might have been too little too late considering most Super Tuesday States have already been voting for the past month.

If Sander's ends the night with +200 delegates, of if he wins CA and TX it's probably over for Biden.

Agreed. If either takes both those states, probably over. I never dreamed I'd be rooting for a communist to win, but we need the clarifying bloodletting only that can bring.

The early VA route for Biden is a good 10 points better than optimistic polls were showing. Given that trend, he'll take TX handily and probably take CA as well. Could be over in 3 hours.

Yeah, it's crazy, isn't it? One thing for sure...they sure as hell don't want Sanders to be the man. They know damn well he'll lose, and lose big. Not only that, the Democrat Party will have SOCIALIST tattooed on their ass. And I agree with Ice that down ballot candidates would be in jeopardy too. They can't let that happen...they're going to screw Bernie not matter what.

They should have never let that guy join the party in the first place. He should be running as a Socialist, Independent, Green Party, whatever...but they wanted his votes in the Senate and thereby let the fox in the henhouse. Somebody should have told Biden "No" when he was considering getting in...because at least a few of the ones that have already dropped out would have at least let them save face...but who was to know Biden would decline mentally so rapidly?

Anyway...IMO the nominee will be Biden. However, the person who would be President if Biden is elected (providing he makes it to November) has yet to be know...that person will be his VP pick. Biden won't last long and everyone knows that.

So basically, it's Trump vs. Biden's VP pick in 2020. I think that's what it'll boil down to.

My casual observance has been that after the election, VPs just fade away and never really are talked about in mainstream American homes. To me, it sounds like your saying that for the first time ever, a candidates choice for VP will actually mean something?
