If Bernie gets the shaft from the DNC, and Buttigieg gets the nomination, if he picked up Bernie as his VP, what would be their shortened name? Butt - Burn?

^ It's a Bloomberg ploy to try to unite the anti-Sanders segment of the party. It doesn't have to be true, can be denied along the way, but generates some momentum.

The attack by Warren calling him a racist for his comments about redlining is extraordinary. I don't see how the Sanders-Warren wing can possibly accept him as the nominee.

Sure looks like it sucks to be a Dem right now. So damn pathetic a billionaire card carrying member of the liberal illuminate had to jump in as an act of desperation.

I reckon the liberal floor mopping will be comparable to Reagan/Mondale or Nixon/McGovern. Not so sure about getting back the House, as we’d need to win a lot of seats...perhaps to many.

With this new year, there were four things I’ve been looking forward to witnessing...the impeachment debacle falling on its face, the Trump SOTU bitchslap, the coming catastrophe of the DNC and finally the election itself...just to gleefully watch the TDS meltdown all over again.

So so far so good!

Bloomberg's basic message will be:

I'm a billionaire businessman and won't wreck the economy, but I'm a "progressive" on guns, drugs, gays, min wage, trade, and international relations, and will behave normal as prez. Basically the little bit of good from Trump while correcting all the bad.

Add $2 billion in warchest, and another 2, 5, 10 billion in free media support-- seriously hard to beat.
