Biden will not be the nominee.

You heard it here first. (Unless someone posted above that I missed). (Excluding predictions pre- his resurrection, of course).

Nominee? Cuomo. Biden will win the floor vote first ballot. He'll decline the nomination. Delegates are free to vote on ballots 2 and beyond. DNC and party apparatus will install Cuomo. Biden needs to be persuaded, obviously, but the power brokers are already working on him.

His wife will be the one to do it. He'll come to understand he'd be a guaranteed Dem folk hero even if Cuomo loses, vs a very likely despised loser if he continues. He can't drop out now, though, since delegates are committed on ballot 1.

    ^^^I'll take that bet^^^

    What are we playing for?

For better or worse the Democrats have already made their bed. Also it looks like Biden will have the required votes on the first ballot which voids all other possibilities.

But I do agree the Democratic establishment would love to hitch their wagon to Cuomo right now. Cuomo is doing a good job on the whole of guiding NY through this crisis.

Ahem. And so begins the push out of Biden. They've been trying to get him out, he's been resisting understandably, they said "we'll destroy you," he said fat chance, and here's the fat.

Admittedly my theory is difficult to execute. Would require Biden to swear he'd decline the nom, so the establishment might prefer this route, of damaging Biden, where no one has a majority on ballot 1. Then install Cuomo on the floor.

Big media isn't sure what to do with this story just yet. First inclination is to hide it, of course. But they'll take out Biden once they understand the task at hand.

    From the article:

"The reaction to this allegation has largely been muted in major media outlets. As of Friday afternoon, searches of the New York Times, CNN.com, the Los Angeles Times and many other outlets show no articles on the allegations. Additionally, a keyword search of cable news channels turns up no results on major networks like CNN, MSNBC, Fox News or CNBC."

    Hmmmm....I wonder why?
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

If this is what “should happen,” why don’t Democrats practice it — and why doesn’t Biden himself step aside in order to live by the standards he championed only two years ago?

Page 2 from the Democratic playbook.... don't be surprised when the accuser is Christine Blasey Ford.

It very well may be that Biden is the guy. He'll get the nom, make a fool out of himself in the debates and then get his ass creamed in the election. That may be the way the whole thing goes down. As long as he can stand and talk.

Otherwise if health issues take him out...the the DNC will obviously have to come up with something. Cuomo? Who the hell knows who he is? Bloomberg 2.0...non factor.

In so much as a diabolical plan to supplant Biden, I seriously don't think these Dems are smart enough for that...look at the way they've been careening around like stupid psychos for 4 years! Nah...Biden is it unless they have to go into scramble mode.

This election is a compilation of the Dems. They never really expected to win...Biden being the top dog proves it.
