/\/\/\...so the one girl says, "I suppose everyone can be hypocritical every now and then" and then she follows it up with (more or less) "My hypocrite is better than your hypocrite".

Oh well...at least most of them seem like it may have planted a tiny little kernel in their brains.

"I don't know how Nixon won...I don't know a single person that voted for him".

Looks like the Trump 2020 campaign has a new mascot. And the liberal animal rights groups heads are exploding over it.

^^^ A $5,000 reward for what exactly? Coming forward with information on who committed the heinous crime of slapping a sticker on a bear collar?

$10 says if it was a Biden sticker the media would've made it out to be a funny little "News of the weird" and it would've been forgotten in less than 24 hours. But since it's a Trump sticker...well, stop the presses, we've got a depraved lunatic on the loose!

Handicapping the veep stakes. Purely my opinion and speculation, obviously:

Karen Bass: the preferred choice of the core of the Biden team. A strong Marxist, to the point where she's publicly praised Castro and espoused openly communist views. Hence why she's appeared on TV shows and has had numerous critical articles published on her past statements the last week or so. The team is seeing how she handles the heat and how much traction her past gets.

Kamala Harris: known commodity, but the team fears she's too strong and too self interested, and would be an immediate threat within the admin to undermine Biden. Her past as a DA doesn't sit well with those looking to take down the system entirely who want a more pure anti system veep.

Val Demmings: her past as a police chief is seriously harming her chances.

Tammy Duckworth: past military service hurts her with the true believers like with Demmings. But would help to sway some middle roaders that she "can't be too radical as a vet." Her overall lack of intelligent heft wouldn't appeal to many. She's a dumb socialist as opposed to a preferred smart Marxist. Probably the most bland and safest pick.

Keisha Bottoms and Stacey Abrams: wildcards, with the risk of not enough gravitas to explain why Marxism is better. They align more with the angry vote than the take-the-system down vote.

Susan Rice: the preferred pick of the upper hierarchy of the Biden team. Big name, loyal to where she wouldn't threaten like Harris, and sufficiently anti-American to be a tool for Marxism. But the all of the team is concerned about her Benghazi lies and unmasking orders.

Thoughts? I was thinking Duckworth the last month or so, but based on the purposeful trial balloon leaks, it appears Bass or Harris.

I think Mitt Romney would be a good Democratic Veep pick.

My money is currently on Susan Rice. She is the offspring of the swamp creatures and has no issues with doing their bidding.

Simple, a slack jawed hillbilly slapped a Trump sticker on a bear collar. What's the big deal?

^^^^^^^^^ Well that is boring. So you just walk up to a wild bear and slap a sticker (properly centered and sized) on its collar? Hmmm. Seems like there should be more of a story than that. At least tell me how much beer was consumed and what the bet was.

Bear raided a big redneck camp. Drank all their beer and booze.. all of it. Didn't leave them one drop. Passed out 60 ft down the road from too much beer. Good old boys got a laugh out of it. Slapped the sticker on his collar and let him sleep off the hangover.

Hahaha.... I used to live next to this horse pasture. This beautiful all white horse lived in the pasture and pranced around the perimeter daily... one night my redneck friends got all boozed up. Somewhere they found some black paint, so they hopped the fence, lassoed the horse, and proceeded to paint zebra stripes on the horse. Then on the horse's ass one of them painted "Now I'm a zebra".

Driving to work the next day the newly minted zebra was proudly prancing around the pasture just as proud as ever... I laughed my ass off at the sight of it. That was 30 years ago and the image in my head of that horse with zebra stripes still brings a smile to my face.

    :-)

Agreed the more I think about it. Bass too risky. Harris too abrasive. Rice congenial and well spoken and a neocon (read: pro war) lefty who is loved by the Mitt Romney types, so official DC will openly support her. Her lies to protect Obama will be dismissed as loyalty.

The ticket will come across as a moderate Obama 2 admin. It'll play well and is a safe choice. Bass is who we needed.
