And in the spirit of honest numbers and reality, FL Dems are showing some muscle now. Obviously if we lose FL it's over.

Better numbers as the day wears on.

Found a site showing 30 min updates on county balloting. Trump is still ahead of 2016 pace in almost every county. The key ones are the 3 large blues down around Miami. Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. Sound familiar? 2000 hanging chads, of course.

Posts like these are what happens when you're in a political office all day in between walk maps.

^^^I was recently looking up 2016 election results for Florida by county. Those three counties of Broward/Palm Beach/Miami-Dade seem to carry much of the state. It's interesting that Trump currently has almost an 8% lead over 4 years ago. Hopefully that trend continues and/or strengthens.

Much of South Florida consists of Cubans who came from a Socialist/Communist regime and have no interest in turning the USA into the very thing they fled.

The much less glamorous side of Scottsdale. The flats of HOA neighborhoods.

Good numbers from FL continue today.

Just curious....when you're working those neighborhoods, what exactly are you doing? Going door-to-door like missionaries? What do you say? Do you have a preset shpiel you give everybody? Do you give out fliers? How are you received most of the time?

    So many questions...

We have an app with targeted doors. People on our side usually not strongly, but most probably, who have yet to vote based on ballot tracking. The app is for intelligence as well. In convo discern if they've voted, for whom, etc. Take written notes as well. Leave lit if no answer, etc.

We see data for each door as we go up. Party affil, age, each registered voter there, notes from prior years. I make an extra effort to know doors with mostly/all Rs. The reminder to vote, but some ask where to drop it, etc. Not often do we debate and convince. Especially at this point in time, that's exceptionally rare.

The face to face is considered the best get out the vote instigator by pros.

Received very well by those on our side. Haven't been chased, cussed at, or anything from the other side.

liberals never seem to understand that a tax on the wealthy is just passed down to the poor and middle income rates.

The wealthy know how to use the system to their advantage, they'll always pass the tax along and still make the same or more money.

Sort of a "trickle down" effect, if you will

Text this morning from an area coordinator I've gotten to know well.

Nice. Not as personal recognition but confirmation for my brain that what I'm doing matters.

Anyone working toward a large end, either walking or posting or talking to friends and family or donating cash, what each of us does literally doesn't matter. 140 millions votes will be cast. But without each of us none of this could happen.

It's like a riveter or farmer or soldier in WW2. Didn't matter, that one tiny contribution. But it did matter and meant everything.

My goal this cycle is 2000 door knocks. From that I might actually net, what, 20 votes? For an unbelievable amount of work.

    That reality is so odd.

I think it's pretty amazing that in this day of mass media and social media that in-person door knocking still exists. I had no idea.

I hope Trump wins for a variety of reasons -- one of which is so that your hard work and dogged determination will not have been for nothing.

Morning pep from the one data cruncher I like reading most, obviously.

Point 14 is why I came to AZ. Instead of PA where I have relatives I could have stayed with. Two races here. PA the bigger EV haul, was a tough call.

Walked some palatial estate areas today so far. Wow. Horse corrals, huge entries and massive doors, glassed garages to showcase cars, etc. Not necessarily large lots, either. Good size but not acreage per se. This is still urban Phoenix.

And if you thought the stories of astroturf lawns were exaggerated, no.

Guess who Trumps +1 guest is going to be tonight at the debate. Is there a bigger bolder troll move than this?

The ban fracking lie and comment at the end about eliminating the oil industry might very well tip PA to Trump. That's the only swing state where that matters.

To a lesser extent in Ohio and Florida as well.

At this point, how many folks do you think are undecided? I feel like it's likely that at this point if you plan to vote that you already know who you're going to vote for.

    Ironic...

Joe calls Trump “Abraham Lincoln” but not for sending Federal Troops into Democrat cities that were in rebellion.
