I called Mayor Pete six months ago... if I knew how to search this thread I would have quoted it.

It's really a no brainer as most candidates are too far left to defeat Trump and everyone knows that except for the extreme left.

Biden would have been the Democrats best candidate but he is losing his metal capacity to old age and everyone can see it.

Tulsi Gabbard is the Democrats best candidate and could beat Trump, but the DNC has rigged the election against her similar to what they did to Bernie in 2016. I'm not exactly sure what Gabbard did to draw the ire of the DNC, other than refuse to support Hillary in 2016, but she has crossed a line somewhere the DNC will not forgive.

So that leaves Mayor Pete currently as the only viable moderate alternative by default. Or at least until one of these late race additions jumps in with both feet.

I also still believe Hillary will make a play of some type. She is holding out because her health will not allow a long term run.

If the Democrats run a socialist from the extreme left they will lose the presidency, but even a bigger catastrophe will be they'll get slaughtered in the down ballet elections.

I'm assuming that commonsense will eventually grab hold in the DNC and they will settle on a moderate. What surprises me more is why a couple other candidates running with low poll numbers have not tried to stake out a more moderate platform. Whomever the DNC nominates will be making a mad dash to the center for the general election as that is standard operating procedure.

Good analysis. The wild card is demographics. Old rules don't apply when real Americans are dying, anti-American millenials are getting brainwashed in schools, and blank slate non-American immigration continues at a staggering rate.

I don't see any way out of a CA electorate overall, where reality doesn't matter and the left wins everything no matter what. The country is in serious danger of being destroyed.
