She was nominated because she was successful at getting all of the Puerto Ricans in Queens to get to the polls and vote for her instead of that stuffy white guy who was a long standing incumbent. She was nominated with only 3% of the population of her district.

But again, she was nominated NOT because of her platform but rather because half the island of Puerto Rico showed up at the polls.

It's clear the second she opens her mouth she's in way over her head, and she lacks the maturity and common sense that her colleagues around her possess (For the most part).

Her "new deal" is just pure unadulterated socialism.

Why did her staff delete it? Was it intentionally deleted because they recognized the absurdity of it, or was it an oopsie?

I think they deleted it because of how damn stupid it was. It literally included the phrases "farting cows" and offering economic security for those "unwilling to work" (those are the actual words).

Even the big-wig Democrats recognized how much of a trainwreck it was.

The only person I know that thought it was a good idea was an old high school buddy with a music degree that spends so much money on weed that he can hardly afford his rent.
