    Transgenderism and the Olympics

Next year’s Tokyo Summer Olympics may spell the swift death of the transgender movement as a dominant politically-correct touchstone. Biological men, self-identifying as women, are poised to make a clean sweep of the Women’s Olympics, triggering a very public debate on this third-rail subject. That firestorm, pitting pro-women feminists against extreme pro-transgender progressives, will begin July 24th, just as the Presidential sweepstakes moves into its sprint to the finish line.
The International Olympic Committee -- the IOC -- recently admitted they couldn’t come up with fair guidelines governing how and when transgender women can compete as women, against biological women. Currently, the IOC says self-identified women can compete, so long as their testosterone level remains below 10 nanomoles per liter (nm/l) for 12 months. Typically, men have between 7.7 and 29.4 nm/l of testosterone, while women have between 0.12 and 1.77 nm/l. Under those IOC guidelines, hormonally-restricted men can still maintain nearly 500 percent testosterone advantage over women.

I had read this article the other day. I'd predict transgenderism wins out. The left has a history of discarding constituent groups or movements for the next progressive goal. Women and Title IX are to go, imo.

Which is great for the MAGA movement, as their idiocy is further exposed.

I for one am not looking forward to watching much Olympics. Can you imagine these networks that have been bashing nationalism and America so badly recently suddenly have to do an about face and somehow promote the USA and its athletes and successes in some form of positive light? There will be too many wannabe Megan Anna Rapinoes that will want to be in the spotlight by bashing Trump and America, that’s all the networks will want to cover.

I’m betting that the Olympics days are numbered. Between this transgender movement and the anti American/Trump networks being forced to promote something they clearly don’t support, it will all eventually fall flat in its face.

Talk about not fair... what’s fair about bringing a child into this world to a family like this?

Putting aside all of the mental, social, and developmental issues and gymnastics this our kid is going to have to face, just imagine how it will struggle having to deceive to everyone it’s family situation. When it goes to the doctor, and fills out the form for genealogical medical history, how do they fill out the maternal and paternal information?

Finally someone is taking this insanity to Federal court and it appears to me they have a great case to win using Title IX.

Conn. high school girls file lawsuit arguing that allowing transgender athletes to compete is sex discrimination

While I applaud the effort, it looks like this lawsuit will unfortunately get mired down in red tape and then ultimately dismissed. The end of the article states that the ACLU has volunteered to step in on the behalf of the trans students and represent them as this thing rolls forward.

If this actually forces substantive change I will be equal parts surprised and delighted. We'll see...

The biggest problem i see with this lawsuit is it will be settled about 10 years after the girls suing graduate high school.... I really don't get it... if you have testicules your body produces massive amounts of testosterone, particularly in young males... and there is no way in hell a healthy young woman can compete with that. Testosterone injections is what the East German's were injecting their Olympic female athlete's with back in the 70's that made them unbeatable.

I'm still trying to figure out where the joy in victory is. It's like winning the gold medal at the special Olympics, but you're not special... it would take all the fun of of winning for me.

When you can’t come close to competing with men , it’s only obvious that you’re really a woman. Mele sense to me. I don’t see the problem here.

Unfortunately it's real... what's going on in high school women's track and field in some states is insane...
