    Rodcle canyoneering bags - sale

FYI...this site has now 20% off (WINTER18 is the coupon code)...they have great canyoneering packs of RODCLE, and to start with...prices on this site are ridiculously lower than other US sites I’ve seen)

I already have the 55L and I love it. Especially the durability and how fast it drains.

I just purchased 40L for a total of $113 after taxes and shipping (shipping was ~$25...ouch): http://www.barrabes.com/en/rodcle-lekime-40l/p-15951.

It is not a USA site, it is Spanish.

You can choose "english" (the key is to have the "/en" in the URL and "USD" as currency. Ordered from them using Paypal, and received my 55L bag within ~1wk.
Below is a screenshot (seems like the 40L is already out of stock, but maybe other sizes/brands are not)

Sorry. Perhaps I was not clear.

Barrabes is a Spanish company. As in, they are based in Spain.

Yes, they have an English language site. Of interest, their phone number on the English Language site is a UK phone number.

You said: " ...prices on this site are ridiculously lower than other US sites I’ve seen... "

implying that their site is a US site, ie, that the company or at least part of it is based in the USA. It is not, it is based in Spain.

I wasn't trying to imply they are US site...I was looking at the final $$$ cost (shipping included), and noticed that they are significantly cheaper than other (US) sites I was looking at. There were other European sites, but those were more expensive than the US sites, so didn't even bother mentioning them.

For the record - I do own quite a bit of your products :)

I am well aware that you are a regular customer, and am appreciative.

This is Tom as stickler for precise language, rather than Tom as marketeer.

Where does naming your company Canyoneering USA yet having your packs and other soft goods produced in the Philippines fit into all this precise language?

Funny how things getting interesting on Bogley from such an innocent post where I was trying to inform the canyoneering community about what I thought was a great bargain.

BTW, Tom...if it helps...English is my second language

    Where did it ship from?

  20. #13
Don't know...threw away the pkg. Regardless...3 days is pretty good no matter where it was shipped from. I do know that the shipping cost was $25 (didn't have a cheaper option).

Suddenly my feet are feet of mud
    It all goes slo-mo
    I don't know why I am crying
    Am I suspended in Gaffa?

    What took you so long?

Why do you think I post on Bogley? Because every now and then I need someone to call me a dick.

I was on vacation...took me a bit to catch up.

BTW, I drove by Checkerboard a few days after the Rondi...you and two women were crossing the road, I presume to do Fat Man's or Family. I pulled over, got out of my truck but you were already into the bushes...I waved at the girls, they waved back.

I thought of grabbing my pack and chasing you down...as I was curious about what your behavior would be like around women. But continued with my biking plans anyway. Besides, I'd hate to step on your toes while you're pouring on the charm.
