Tubing the Portneuf River in Lava Hot Springs
Here is a video I shot Labor Day Weekend of tubing the Portneuf River in Lava Hot Springs. I thought it turned out to be one of my better video's. Enjoy.

I think that's one of the top tubing rivers within a several hour drive of Utah. We tried to get up there on Labor Day but NOOOOOO my wife scheduled her hair appointment.
Those Quad tubes are the best, no flipping over. Room for the dog in the middle too. I'm looking at some on Amazon and at about $120, if you rent 3 times at Lava at $40 each time, it's paid for.

Got a link for the $120 quad tube. I looked and couldn't find them anywhere close to that price.
We discovered linking the singles in a line also stops them from flipping. It's getting washed backwards after the rapid the causes the flip. If you are linked the tubes push/pull each other through and we had zero flipping when linked.
Best thing about the quads is you don't bounce your ass off the rocks.
The thing I hate about Lava is the ride is so short, maybe 10 minutes. We tube the Weber and Provo a lot and the ride is a couple hours long.

Here's one, but used. The related products will be listed though

Yeah I meant to tube the Weber River this year too, but that's another one that got away. There's still time but these next few weekends are booked.

This one might be alright, you gotta anticipate running into sharp rocks and see how it holds up though

Tube Pro has the best tubes, it's what all the commercial companies rent. They are a couple dollars more but it's money well spent as the tubes are twice as thick as the other junk floating around. But they don't have a quad.
Buy Tube Pro Tubes

The quads they rent in Lava are $219 to buy, the other stuff just doesn't hold up. We tube about 30 times a year so I've got the tubes dialed in.
