You gonna buy a nicer one with all that money you made hand over fist with the TRUMP STOCK MARKET?

Thinking real hard about retiring on the Idaho/Montana border.

Thanks Scott, it is a great boat and someone will be quite happy.

    Sooo....Sandpoint, huh?

I thought you were a desert rat? All this talk of moving to the Idaho panhandle is blasphemy!!

Well, yeah but I'm interested in something in the four digit range (<3,000). What he's got posted is more in the five digit range...

Boats are black holes in the water that you dump money into. Ask me how I know.

I kept up on the maintenance on this boat and it has been relatively cheap to operate.

A 3-4 day trip will usually only cost $200ish in fuel.(I don't hot rod it or drive full throttle)

Factor in motels or sleeping on the ground and it's a reasonable vacation get away.

    RLOL

This is not a little fishing boat. haha

I bet it pulls chicks though.

Yeah I'm not looking for something flashy that can pull skiers around. I just want a reasonable 14 - 17 foot tin can that I can put Captain's chairs on and slay fish with my boys. Especially since I've got some great opportunities right in my back yard -- Jordanelle, Rockport, Echo, Pineview, Willard, Causey, etc, etc....

My last boat ate twice that much fuel a day.

That is a really good looking boat you have there. At one time I thought I'd always own a boat, but now I can't imagine owning one. Funny how your life changes.

HAHAHA -- look at that deranged grin on your face! Why does that not surprise me?

And that kind of boat is exactly what I'm looking for....but with a newer motor.

I did learn to waterski behind that boat, but grandpa had put a 20hp Evinrude on it by then. I think the one in the pic is a 15hp.

Oh--it could consume twice that much fuel in a day, we just choose not too.
