The Princess of Wildflower Hikes Albion Basin and Cecret Lake
I know this is a very popular hike, but I am craving searching for wildflowers this week, so of course I started with the Princess of all Wildflower hikes, Albion basin. Gorgeous hike. A few tips..1. If you get there before 7:30 am, you don't have to pay the $7 parking fee, and if it is not a weekend hopefully parking won't be a head ache. 2. Some people are waiting until the middle of July for the flowers. It has been a dry year, so they are coming out early. If you are going below the Campground this week is good to beat the crowds. If you are going above the Campground, the flowers might not be in full bloom. 3. If you get there before 7:30, it is a little chilly, you might need a jacket which shocked me.
Here are my blog posts of Albion Basin and Cecret Lake
