New House - Internet Service Provider

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I haven't been able to really get a clear idea of what options are out there from previous threads.

Long story short - I am living in my Grandmother's house until the family is able to sell it (Could be years).

Right now the house does not have internet. Previously, Granny had a DSL line from CenturyLink. There is still a CenturyLink modem in the house.

What ISPs do you recommend? Should I just go with CenturyLink? Or someone else? For location specific providers, the house is in Sandy.

    IT Gods, what do?

I'd go with Comcast over CenturyLink.

CenturyLink is going to be more expensive, plus they don’t have TV options.

Comcast will bundle internet and tv AND be cheaper than CenturyLink Internet only plans.

If you can get Utopia or Google Fiber, I’d suggest that first. If not, get Comcast.
