Fivemile Wash - Capitol Reef National Park Temp Closure
Capitol Reef National Park Superintendent, Sue Fritzke, has signed a closure order for Fivemile Wash to protect sensitive resources in the area.
The closure is currently in effect and will continue through August 31, 2018. The area closed to use is from the head of Fivemile Wash (the crest of the ridge between Fivemile Wash and South Draw) for 2 miles downstream to the east.
36 CFR 1.5(f) Closures and public use limits.
