    We're off! My 11 year old boy starts this season strong on the surfboard.

    As we were discussing this out on the lake, we would occasionally turn off the boat engine so we could more clearly hear each other's thoughts on foreign policy and white privilege. When we came to the conclusion that it was unnecessary to discuss such issues among a group of intelligent men on a lake while surfing, we wrapped up our thoughts and quickly went back to our fantasy bubble to enjoy our lives.

    This photo was snapped prior to our from realization that political discussion is more important than enjoying the outdoors. My apologies.
