    Lower Watermaiden

We hiked Lower Maidenwater last weekend. We loved the canyon but I understand why it isn't more popular. You have to hike about a mile in before it turns awesome and then the last 3 miles are also just alright. But the main section of the canyon was really cool!

    Scaling down the hill:

    Watch out for falling rocks

    This section was especially cold:

    Catching a lizard:

We found a scorpion along the trail:

Our favorite part of the canyon:

Yup -- "Blocked in this country due to copyright grounds."

Did you start lecturing your kiddos on the virtues of maintaining and preserving your 2nd Amendment rights or something?
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

I can watch it via VPN if I route it through Romania. They probable just think I'm a Russian Oligarch conspiring with Trump.

    Awesome video edit Dan!

Can I have permission to use this video at my work? I’m the captain of a work hiking club and I get lots of questions about kid hikes. I’ve given them plenty and I forgot all about maidenwater. I haven’t done it in about 10 years ago and forgot how cool it is, especially for kids.

Fun video. Music is my number one headache when producing videos. I had to resort to a paid subscription to royalty free libraries.

    Help yourself.

Just a reminder, there is little to no shade for the last 3 miles. So remind people to bring plenty of water (maybe a water filter) and try to avoid the middle of the day during the Summer.
