Sweet... I've been coaching NICA for 6 years now and my daughter graduated 3 years ago. I have cut back a little but for the most part I just like riding with the kids. And helping the kids win 2 state championships also felt really good.

Glad to hear your still coaching. I chatted with you for a split second in STG at the Championship race 4 years ago. Our team raced with Utah the first year we formed the team.

I wanted to continue to help but I can't because of work. Work was gracious to give me the time I needed to coach for the last 4 years until Sarah graduated. As you know it is huge commitment.

I do miss riding with my crew. They are the best.

I remember, Utah region is growning like crazy since you raced in it. We are now split into a North, Central and South region. The only time all three regions race together anymore is at state. We have half a dozen teams now with 100 plus members. Corner Canyon is still the largest team in the country with 175 riders this year.

Yep..I still follow Utah. And we often mention how big Corner Canyon because we are impressed you can handle that many kids and have had such awesome participation.

IFC is still a composite team with 7 high schools. Slowly growing, last year we had 40 I expect they will have 60 or more this year. Biggest growth is with the middle schools.

Lucky enough that I get to ride with the old man at least once a week
Just 'cause it zips, don't mean it fits

I brought Porter along on the Ogden Canyon Overlook trail at Snowbasin. We waited for others, which was a mistake, because we ended up getting screwed at the end and riding down in the dark. Gotta start on the trail by 5 pm now.

Here's a panorama from the top of the trail.

Porter took a small tumble in the soft grass, just a little bruise on the leg, had to enhance the light because it's pretty dark.

I took my boy up on the Sardine and Ogden Overlook trails at Snowbasin this last week. The colors are just about there. Watch out for the moose.

So I have to borrow a kid these days since both mine are grown and on their own and living in different states.

This is my niece and our first mtb ride together. I bought her balance bike for her as soon as my sister told me she was pregnant. I have been patiently waiting until she and I could ride.

I took my boy on JEM for the first time and also More Cowbell this weekend. Coincidentally there were the Utah high school mountain bike races the same weekend closer by St George.

Here's my boy on the More Cowbell trail, part of JEM just outside "hurracunn"

19 seconds 'Beech? Looks awesome and then it's gone.
Suddenly my feet are feet of mud
    It all goes slo-mo
    I don't know why I am crying
    Am I suspended in Gaffa?

    That's what she said

I've got more clips coming up, I'm juggling other video projects for clients at the moment though.
