    ...and if they're able to get a handle on knife control it will turn into 'Baseball Bat control,' then on to 'Tire Iron control,' and then 'Brick control,' etc, etc, etc.

    WOW!

    There is so much wrong with this if you value your freedom. First on the list is police are allowed to "stop and frisk", without probable cause. That would never fly in the USA.

    Knifes are now classified as "weapons of war"?
