Thread: Weekend at the Cabin in the Uintas

Weekend at the Cabin in the Uintas

Just got back from a friend's cabin, a bunch of 40 year olds farting inside and peeing outside, staying up too late watching movies and playing Halo.

It's a rite of passage. The Man Trip.

Here are a few shots of the location.

Cool. My daughter will finish up med school next fall and says her first major purchase, after she starts making the big bucks, is to buy a cabin somewhere within an hour and a half drive from our house in PG (probably Fairview area). She'll most likely be working in another state, but wants the cabin to be our family gathering place. Plus, she knows (and expects) I will go there a lot and we'll take care of it. When all is said and done, who knows but, one can dream, right?
    Are we there yet?

It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Where is this? It looks familiar, but there's a bunch of snow on the ground, so that rules out Utah....

Just barely Utah, top of the Mirror Lake Highway in the Uintas, near Manor Lands. The highway gate is closed about a mile away for the snow.

Did you do the 360 manually? It doesn’t look like active-track...

It's the "Point of Interest" mode. I need to practice it more. I've been shooting straight shots mainly, I need to get some variety, need to work on my pan shots.
