Two good RV parks in Green River: KOA and Shady Acres. The Green River State park is nice too if you're just tossing a tent or have a small trailer.

For dispersed/dirt camping, you can just head to the East side of town, cross south over I-70 and there's tons of open space near either the Missile Base, the Crystal Geyser, or you can boondock camp along Hastings Rd along the Green River (about ~10 miles North of town, but accessed from far East end of town).

If you don't want to be that near Green River, my go-to for dirt boondock camping is the Wickiup just off I-70 and Exit 131 (about ~20 miles West of Green River).

Updated to add that last week Green River opened a brand new mountain biking trail that's 5 or 7 miles long.

White Wash Sand Dunes are close to Green River, but I'm sure you are well aware of that!

Well aware. I've dragged my 5th wheel to the mesa overlooking the dunes plenty of times. That's a tough tow on a 43' rig though because those many dips wreak havoc on the rear end of the trailer.

I was in Green River last Thurs - Sunday. We hit the Pickle and encountered ~200 really old Jeeps clawing their way up the last rock crawl. Super weather and I have my first sun burn of the year!

30th March- 1st April I camped along Skumptah road; did a bit of hiking along Bull Gorge. Beautiful stars at night, with no artificial light. Bitterly cold, though, but not unpleasant due to the natural low humidity.

And they say all we do is talk politics....

I'm headed out to Green River later this week. We'll hit Goblin Valley and the normal Green River attractions. The weather looks fantastic.
