Watching that guy taking way too long to try and get his gun out, that's what got him shot. If you are going to pull your gun, make sure it doesn't take longer than 3 seconds. Plus don't let the shooter sit there and watch you fumble and struggle to get your gun or else you'll be shot in 2 seconds.

That guy would probably still be alive if he didn't sit there and struggle trying to get his gun while he had a gun trained on him already. If you can't get it out in 1 second, don't let them watch you go for it.
