Heres a very recent quote from a Utah politician:

Democrats weren't as amused. Rep. Mark Wheatley, D-Salt Lake City, told Hawkes his presentation left him "a little offended" because it suggested people drink only to get drunk. He said there are many responsible drinkers in Utah who don't drink and drive.

Now--substitute, "people drink" with people own guns and "to get drunk" with to kill people.

Now the last sentence could read--there are many responsible gun owners in Utah who don't own guns to commit crimes.

OK...so they've now banned all "Military Style Assault Weapons" in New Zealand, along with magazines and any parts to covet a firearm to semi auto. Looks like the shooter got exactly what he wanted...socialism.

Yep...blame the gun. This will just make it all the more easier for guys like him to operate without resistance.

I saw a screen shot from the video he made...all those people lying on the floor, cowering in fear and hoping not to get shot. Too bad they didn't have somebody there to shoot the SOB as soon as he stepped into the door.
