    Kolob Canyon in June

Does anyone has an advice / BKM on how to plan for Kolob canyon in June time frame?
Here's my problem...I plan on a 9 day trip in the ZION area (Jun3-12), and am told the dam-release-schedule is pretty random. I also have some other canyons in mind, which some require permit, so this can be a logistical nightmare

    Thanks

6/3/2018 (Sunday) Drive to Zion area
    6/4/2018 (Monday) Hidden Star (+Boltergeist ?) warmup
    6/5/2018 (Tuesday) Telephone / Behunin / TeleHunin?
    6/6/2018 (Wednesday) Rest (/Keyhole?)
    6/7/2018 (Thursday) Kolob
    6/8/2018 (Friday) Rest
6/9/2018 (Saturday) Mystery (Spry backup if don't get Mystery Permit)
6/10/2018 (Sunday) Spry (Mystery if we did Spry the day before)
6/11/2018 (Monday) Water Canyon & Start driving home

    1. I think "Telephunin" flows off the tongue a bit better than what you suggest above... a fine day out.

    2. Early June is an unlikely time to see Kolob 'in condition'. However, this is a very unusual "winter" so far. You stand a reasonable chance of getting in.

    3. If not Kolob, then Boundary is a fine alternative.

    4. Otherwise looks good. Sounds like a fun trip! Pine Creek is fine as a rest-day canyon too.

We did a Telephone / Not Imlay combo last year instead of Behunin
Could also squeeze Yankee Doodle in there with Hidden Star & Boltergiest or use it to replace one of them. All 3 still make a fairly short day
