Thread: The "Memo"

  1. #81
FBI reviews memo and can find no factual inaccuracies. FBI sources say memo deliberately drafted to avoid national security concerns.

I'm sure a coincidence, but Flynn's sentencing has been postponed.

No way it has anything to do with the memo release.

    @BillOReilly

It looks like the @FBI will be taking a beating over both the Hillary Clinton-email and the Trump-Russia investigations. The American people have an absolute right to know what happened in both situations.

Will be interesting to see how the stock market reacts to the release, wouldn't be surprised to see a 500 pt loss, today.

and, just a bit of civics---

The "memo" is a document that details a "few" facts from the OIG.

These are not Republican talking points!

All facts in "memo" will be backed with proof in OIG investigation.

The Inspector General is Michael Horowitz, his office compiled the facts in a 1.2million page ongoing investigation.

Horowitz was appointed to IG in 2012 by obama.

There will likely be much more come of the 1.2million pages.

No matter which party you prefer, there should never be partisanship, in law enforcement.

can we all agree on that?

I hate quoting myself but--for this reason, I wonder if the release will be just after the final bell, then the markets would have the weekend to digest it.

If the memo is released today it will be hard the judge it's effect as the just released wage report is already causing chaos and fears of inflation in the stock market.

    Yes, I would agree.

In my opinion, partisanship is what is killing this country. It's too bad we can't find something better than the increasingly polarized two party system.

There will likely be much more come of the 1.2million pages.
Dang. 1.2 million pages is a lot. Even if you aren't trying to analyze the data, an average educated reader reads a page in just over two minutes, assuming each page is a full or nearly full page.

If someone read non-stop, without eating, sleeping, going to the bathroom, or doing anything else, it would take 4.57 years to read the document. Reading the document 8 hours a day, without any breaks would take 13.70 years!
Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

keep in mind--this is not the end of an investigation, rather it's in it's infancy.

Exactly. This is what 99% of America will say. I don't know what the democrats are worried about. The general public will just wait for someone else to read it for them and give them their own skewed and slanted view of the world.

Whatever it says, Stephen Colbert is going to get something different out of that thing than what Rush Limbaugh does. They will then tell all of their audience what they read and nothing is going to change.
