That was an awesome video. The guy could really play, and he had great stage presence too.
Also, can we appreciate the size and girth of that drum kit? Those were the days when drummers really went ham with the kits. You don't see that too much anymore.

Sean Connery. One of my all time favorite actors and my favorite James Bond of all times! He was the epitome of masculinity......

That guy was such a badass. I've been wondering when he'd go...he's laid real low in the last 10 years. Every now and then I'll google his name and hit images to see if he's out and about...nothing. Best Bond ever...no contest.
For those of you who may not have seen it, you absolutely MUST watch the movie "The Man Who Would Be King"...Connery and Caine at their best. I own it on BluRay...it's one of those you can watch over and over. The end of the world for some...

I know he's had trouble with cancer, but he's been on TV lately...and although he looked a bit ruddy, he seemed OK.

I met him briefly once in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, back in the early or mid-nineties or thereabouts. I found him to be the most supercilious arrogant git that I'd ever had the displeasure of meeting.
But I think that is why he was so successful; not so much for his flying skills (which were evidently superb) but for his single-minded attitude to learning everything about each and every aircraft he was about to test fly. He made a good Commanding Officer too, but I would not have wished to be under his command.
He was also lucky, let's not forget that (it could be argued that to a large extent you make your own luck)...all the roads at Edwards Air Force Base are named after test pilots who weren't.
