FWIW - In the 90's Brimley lived in my neighborhood in Draper and every morning he would have a cup of coffee at the only cafe in town. Back then Draper was a small sleepy farm town.

Wilford Brimley dead at 85; known for roles in 'Cocoon,' 'The Firm' and 'The Natural'

I liked him in "Cocoon" (comedy) and "The Firm" (Serious) [Grisham is a great Author] but had not seen Wilford Brimley in "The Natural"; I'll look it up. Thanks.

He gives an awesome performance, and (in my opinion) the movie is one of the best baseball movies ever. The musical score is perfect! Enjoy!

Way too many cigarettes, man. That guy smoked like a fiend. He's been battling the cancer for more than 20 years...I thought he had it beat but it got him.

If you can take it, here his is shredding for 12 straight minutes...this is actually pretty good.

Eddie Van Halen formed Van Halen in the early 1970s in Los Angeles, with his brother Alex as the drummer, David Lee Roth as singer and Michael Anthony on bass.

The band released their eponymous debut album in 1978. The album shot to number 19 on the Billboard charts, becoming one of the most successful debuts of the decade.
Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007, Van Halen received great acclaim for his distinctive guitar parts in many of the band's hits.
Some of rock's biggest names have paid their respects on social media.
Kiss frontman Gene Simmons tweeted: "My heart is broken. Eddie was not only a Guitar God, but a genuinely beautiful soul. Rest in peace, Eddie!."
On Twitter, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea wrote that Van Halen had a "beautiful creative heart".
