    Harvard study on police shootings

Doesn't fit a pre conceived agenda, at all.

Everyone can easily see that the Harvard study is racist and co-authored by Putin.

Its an interesting study. Did you read it? I tried to (ha ha). Regression analysis and other formulas taken from an economics standpoint, methinks. Interesting. But, misleading I think.

This is a Harvard critique of the study:

There should be no argument that black and Latino people in Houston are much more likely to be shot by police compared to whites. I looked at the same Houston police shooting dataset as Fryer for the years 2005-2015, which I supplemented with census data, and found that black people were over 5 times as likely to be shot relative to whites. Latinos were roughly twice as likely to be shot versus whites.

    Here's Houston's data:

Interesting to see 2017: 13 people killed/wounded by police. 2 white females. 11 black males.

Racial makeup of Houston: 50% white. 24% black.

So, in 2017, if you're a white male in Houston...you're pretty golden.

Fundamentally, the math just isn't that difficult. Applying economic formulas to predict racial bias...might be a bit of a stretch.

Anyhoo...count the numbers if you want...data is there to parse in any way to support whatever agenda you choose.
