How Fast Does Snow Melt in the Summer
So, if a trail is snowed in at 9000' today, how long before the snow melts up to 10,000'? It's a very general question without much specifics, but I'm interested in people's thoughts/experience.
Thanks in advance.

I've been doing a lot of travel back and forth to mountainous areas in central Utah (Wasatch plateau), and I can remember the elevations around Electric Lake and Skyline drive having a substantial amount of snow on the ground into the first weeks of June. Up to 2-3 feet in places. Those areas are up around 8500 - 9000 feet.
It's probably mostly gone right now. It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

General rule about an inch a day when it is warm.
Play around on the Snowtel site and it can give you a pretty good idea of what's left.
