Brave, stupid or inhumane?

I caught 2 adults, and their 21 babies by hand and put them in a 5 gal bucket. I twirled the bucket around so that they wouldn't strike me. The bucket was buzzing very loud. My dad wasn't happy with me and my friend got bit by one of the babies. I was 12 yrs old with no fear at the time.

....and what happens when the rattler strikes your hand/leg/arm in your attempt to grab it?
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

What gets me about this video is the guy acts like grabbing a rattle snake is better than avoiding it. I'm glad that there are people out there killing rattlesnakes for me, but I'm nearly equally glad that I'm not that guy.

I don't understand how he was able to grab the tail without being struck. Did he cover the head with his boot?
Here's a rattlesnake I almost stepped on last week on the trail
