    8 hours in St George

My buddy Dave and I flew down to St George in his airplane Saturday morning, picked up our bikes that were waiting for us, went and tried out a few new sections on the JEM Trail, and flew back home 8 hours after we arrived.

The new sections we tried were More Cowbell and Dead Ringer, then we joined up with the classic JEM Trail singletrack before crossing the dirt road.

This was the same weekend as the EPIC True Grit race, or something like that, which closed Bear Claw Poppy, Zen Trail, Green Valley Loop, and Stucki Springs.

    Yeah it's a cool trail.

Check out these guns I caught on my GoPro heading down Dead Ringer.

Dead Ringer section of JEM. Pardon the Fanny Pack. It's the only way right now to carry my bike gear while I'm packing my drone on my back.

    That's a man, baby!
Suddenly my feet are feet of mud
    It all goes slo-mo
    I don't know why I am crying
    Am I suspended in Gaffa?

I hope you're not disrespecting the fanny pack!! In all seriousness, I started using just a fanny pack for my rides that are under 90 minutes and don't venture too far from civilization. It's very nice to get the full backpack off my back.
