Bear Claw Poppy via Drone with a little Zen Trail

I took my 10 year old on the Bear Claw Poppy trail while we were in St George over Presidents Day weekend. We were rained out for most of it but were lucky enough to get 1 ride in. I packed the drone along and also shot some footage of the Zen Trail since it is just above on the ridge.

FYI, Bear Claw Poppy has recently become a directional trail, a 1 way loop. Please be mindful of this.

Personally, I think the directional rule on BCP is great. It directs the climbers to use the dried stream bed to climb up. It's a more steady ride, and easier.

Nicely done! I'm jealous of those of you who have kids or spouses that want to ride with you. None of my 4 kids showed any interest in biking with me although, my daughter wants to get into it once she's done with med school and rotations and making the big bucks in another year and a half or so.
    Are we there yet?

Sometimes I have to promise to stop at the Maverik afterwards for a treat

I was there the week after @Sombeech. It was the first time my son (8 y.o) had done Bearclaw from the top. We were staying at those Las Palmas condos, so we rode from the condo and my wife picked us up at the bottom. He had such a terrible time that he demanded we ride it again the next day!
