Sounds like Manafort's forfeiture alone is greater than the cost of the probe so far. Seems like Mueller has uncovered alot though little public information on Trump yet, if ever.

Best analysis I have read is the probe is starting to resemble a RICO case. And the final target of a RICO case is always a wildcard and highly uncertain. Trump may never be implicated in the investigation but he's been tarnished by all of the close associations.

I agree with you, minus the tarnished part. Do you know anyone on either side who has changed their mind on trump in the last 18 months? Seems like minds on both side are pretty much made up. I mean, can you even imagine a scenario where the resident trump supporters on this site would vote for a Dem over Trump?

No. When he said he could shoot someone on Park Avenue and not lose one supporter in 2015 I thought then, no truer words.

It depends what the Dem candidate had to offer. Hell, not even a lot of Republicans wanted Trump to be the nominee. Even when it was public knowledge that Hillary screwed Bernie out of the nomination, most of the so called Bernie supporters ended up voting for Hillary.

So for me, I'd need to know what the Dem candidate can do for me instead of oppose Trump. Any ideas?

What does it matter? My district went from having a regular democrat to barely making it close in a year Mia should be so under water. My vote is meaningless on a presidential level.

    MAGA folks here? Doubtful.

Other Trump voters: about half the ones I know are disgusted enough to vote anything but him.

Its the unaffiliated and independents who will sway 2020 but the odds are in Trump's favor as an incumbent. Even I vote third party candidates given Utah's clear party loyalty. I couldn't vote Hillary in 2016 but maybe the DNC will find a candidate who supports liberty for all without all of the other baggage .... Yeah, right.

The democrats seem to have totally lost their minds. I try not to affiliate with any single party, because I think the party system should be abolished in favor of an America first focus. My family (half of them at least) voted for Trump. I stand by my Trump vote save for his incessant tweets and obnoxious statements. I think he's heading the correct direction despite not having the fit/finish and polish of an American President. If he can get his tweeting and piss poor temperament under control, I'll vote for him again in 2020.

Every politician elected to office in the US should be American FIRST, with a long-term America first focus.

So I personally dislike the "America First" slogan because of its hideous history (his campaign knew that reality).

But if we are kind and look past that then what Presidential or Congressional candidate doesn't put "america first"? There are few libertarians in either but I rarely doubt their loyalty.

    Did I misunderstand?

Things really seem to be mushrooming out of control in the Whitehouse.

    Battle of the billionaires....

Michael Bloomberg, America's top gun-grabber told confidants he is running for president in 2020. This is the guy who tried to ban large sodas, loud headphones and walks around with armed security. Beware of this hypocrite.
