I don't get it. Why was he painted to look like he's hiding in the shrubbery? Like some creepy stalker. Did he request to be painted to look like a window-peeper? Someone enlighten me, please.

I mean, personally I like Obama as a person. Not my very favorite president, but I considered him a guy worthy of respect. This portrait doesn't do him justice IMO.
