My plane landed near the end of Trumps speach so I didn't get to watch the Democrats melt down

So what was with the old wrecked car behind Little Kennedy? Seeing highlights on the news all I could think is displaying Uncle Ted's drunk murder mobile in the background was not a wise move.

Independents are becoming a huge problem for Democrats as they are now warming to Trump. The Democrats will always hate Trump, but if Trump keeps his base and wins the Independents he has won the war.

And you just know every DACA kid in the country right now is screaming "take Trumps deal", as it is much better then anything ever offered by any president. It includes double the Obama numbers and offers citizenship, how can any DACA kid hate that?

I also like how Trump rebranded the term "Dreamers" to mean all Americans, we'll see how it sticks but Trump is the master of branding and I enjoy watching him work.

Democrats hate vocational training.
Democrats hate paid family leave when a Republican likes it.
Democrats hate prison reform when a Republican likes it.
Democrats hate cheap medications when a Republican likes it.
Democrats hate freedom of speech, religion, and bearing arms.

Simple answer.... slapping a 30% tariff on imported oil doesn't benefit the US. We can place a tariff on any imported item we wish, it's just a matter of does it actually benefit the US.

Fun story... I was working/racing for Yamaha when Harley Davidson was going bankrupt. The US posted a 30% tariff on all imported motorcycles over 700cc, this had two big effects I noticed. It allowed HD engineering time to catch up with the rest of the world. It also created the Bullitt Bike craze as the Japanese altered their production to create mass produced Cafe Racers, which became more popularly known as Bullitt Bikes. If you lived through the beginning of Bullitt Bikes you will remember they were all in the 500cc to 650cc range, that was to beat the tariff. The tariff was descended a couple years later when HD was no longer facing bankruptcy.
