If this branding sticks the Democrats are going to take a torpedo broadside similar to the one the NFL took over the National Anthem fiasco.
I'm probably bias, but it appears to me the Democrats are walking the highwire without a net.

Blame enough to go around...
The evolution of this meeting was...interesting. Watch or read the transcript. Ugly bit of sausage making here:

They obviously didn't get it done...

I actually watched that meeting live and my first thought was they should put all the immigration players in a room, lock the door and broadcast the meeting live. No one comes out until we have a long term fix for this problem. The reason for broadcasting live is no one gets to be an ass without everyone knowing who the ass is, who is grandstanding, who has the public's true interest at heart and who is just playing politics.

Absolutely.
What was interesting in the above referenced meeting was that Trump several times referenced to getting DACA done now and working on immigration later. And then getting reeled back in.
Single item bills. That would kill some of the "bridge to no where" riders. Let that fluff pass or fail on its own merits, not to woo a certain congressional person.
Most of the congressional bill debate stuff is pretty public...

I do hope that Trump really does something about this and the aid to Pakistan.Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.

Boy if this isn't the truth.
Prior to Trump, the gop rolled over on everything.
He is definetely teaching them how to fight.
Whether they grasp it, well, thats another memeI'm not Spartacus

Hmmm. Maybe.
Interesting that Netanyahu has said it'll happen this year. Pence says by end of 2019.
Should Netanyahu not make it to the end of his term...that could effect the new location.
Its interesting...considering the Trump "brand" in the Middle East. Had he completed his deals in Saudi...he might be more influenced that direction. His deal in Tel Aviv fell through too.
Mixed bag. The move could be brokered away too.
I guess I'm 51% that it won't be operational in 2019.

From the US bureau of labor stats:
Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 148,000 in December. Job gains occurred in health
care, construction, and manufacturing. In 2017, payroll employment growth totaled 2.1
million, compared with a gain of 2.2 million in 2016. (See table B-1.)
In December, manufacturing employment rose by 25,000, largely reflecting a gain in
durable goods industries (+21,000). Manufacturing added 196,000 jobs in 2017, following
little net change in 2016 (-16,000).
Some additional data:
https://www.bls.gov/iag/tgs/iag31-33.htm#workforce
With unemployment so low (basically unchanged between 2016 and 2017), its hard to add any types of jobs.
I don't think Barry ever said the US is economy is "rotten"...I think instead he's taking credit for it being strong and contributing to the numbers under Trump.
Trade deficit...hmm...
Some interesting charts from the BBC:
