Thread: President Trump

I remarked last month before I went on a big vacation that I was curious about how all the liberal friends I'd be hanging out with are "feeling" politically these days.
Well...NOBODY talked about it at all. Not one person mentioned anything about any of this crap. I didn't even overhear conversations regarding it. I was making the rounds with 40 people at a time...riding, hiking, talking, taking breaks. I never mentioned anything political.
One thing that was kinda made clear with more than a couple people is that they sure don't like Christians. "Anti-Christian" talk was about the only thing that popped up every now and then. I'm glad there was zero talk about politics...'cuz otherwise things can get a bit sideways.
I was hoping, however....to kinda "feel the gauge", but there was nothing there.Suddenly my feet are feet of mud
It all goes slo-mo
I don't know why I am crying

What was the gist of the anti christian discussion? I'm guessing it had something to do with new anti abortion laws?

No...just hatred for Christians overall. They act and talk like those that go to church are their enemies.
One of them was remarking about the blue and black American Flags that were so prevalent on the 4X4s and ATVs cruising around...I was near Moab and we were biking a lot..."Must be some Christian right-wing bullshit" is what I heard. This is just one example of a few.
I thought it might be the latest thing, as I'd seen these flags being sold at Walmart. Y'know...Wallmart chic. Another friend said it's to support the cops.
They were all talking politics frequently up until this year. Perhaps they see it as the retarded circus that it is just like we do? It's so serious yet so off the rails at the same time.
I'm kinda done with it, actually. I'm just going to vote for Trump and hope he wins. Vote for all the other Republicans too, while I'm at it.Suddenly my feet are feet of mud

Just because you're POTUS, it doesn't give your kids the right to go
around killing endangered big game animals, like woolly mammoths, saber tooth tigers, triceratops, etc. I think his kids are taking advantage of their POTUS kids privilege. What do you all think?

I know these threads are set aside for memes and cartoons, but what exactly has the GOP done for infrastructure in the last 20 years? Here is an interesting article on why it hasn't and probably won't happen any time soon. https://www.forbes.com/sites/joelmos.../#15bdcded2f3e
Maybe if we didn't spend almost a trillion $$$ a year to be the world's police force we could afford to do a little more. How many wars has China been involved in since the 60's? How about us? That is probably why you can get from Beijing to Shanghai in 4 and a half hours via train and it takes like 19 hours to get from NYC to Chicago, when they are basically the same distance.Thanos was right

Love him or hate him, he did a Sterling job with his speeches at the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings. He was quite polite to the Queen.
I may post some photos of all the US Daks that made the expense to bring these historic aircraft over the Atlantic for the event.
In the meantime, google Daks over Duxford
and Daks over Normandy

Yeah he did much better than Obama, which nobody mentions either. Watch Obama speak too early and try to toast the Queen and she gives him a Royal Denial. It's painfully embarrassing to watch.
It's like Trump actually knows what the hell he's doing.

^^^Royal Denial
That was horrible. Do they prep US Presidents for those kinds of occasions or just let them run amok, assuming everyone in the world behaves like Americans? It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.
