This is such a nutty story. The US has been in bed with and helping cover the crimes of Saudi Arabia for decades now, and will continue to do so.

This is a situation where the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The Saudi's (Sunni's) are who keep the Iranians and much of the Middle East (Shia) under control.

Yes the Saudi's are a repressive regime and treat women like shit, but the alternative is much worse. This reminds me a lot of Iraq and Saddum Hussain. Yes Hussain was a brutal dictator, but he did keep his country under control and the US removing him from power without a workable government to replace him was a huge mistake. That's similar to Saudi Ababia, and the Saudi's do help us in many area's, including National security.

When I heard this guy Khashoggi's name I remembered a song from a Queen album. The song, along with the album, kinda suck but it was about the billionaire cousin of the guy that got killed.

Very rich family with a long history in Saudi Arabia. Those saying he was killed for being critical of the gov. there is just nonsense...that dude poked his dick where it didn't belong. Who knows what he was involved in? Extortion, blackmail, a coup attempt, etc...that guy may have had it coming. Playing with fire.

I bet Trump would like to say "It's none of our business", but he won't because everyone would shit their pants. I'd bet a soon as this dude was whacked, the State Dept. called Trump and told him they saw it coming. Hell, we probably gave them permission to off him.

People are disappearing all over the place all the time. This is just another stupid sideshow.

In a joint statement, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Justice Department, FBI and Department of Homeland Security said they "do not have any evidence" that foreign countries have disrupted the voting process or changed any tallies, but that the campaigns have spread "disinformation" and "foreign propaganda."


"We are concerned about ongoing campaigns by Russia, China and other foreign actors, including Iran, to undermine confidence in democratic institutions and influence public sentiment and government policies," the statement said. "These activities also may seek to influence voter perceptions and decision making in the 2018 and 2020 U.S. elections."


It was quickly followed by a Justice Department announcement that a Russian woman has been charged with making fraudulent social media postings intended to "sow division and discord" among U.S. voters, the first case brought against a Russian over alleged interference in the midterm elections.

Funny this gets "mentioned" like this. I actually heard most of that speech, and when he said that, I knew immediately that he was talking about those "Hondurans" kicking down the fence on that bridge with Mexico. This article (more like that chick who tweeted) has taken what he meant out of context.

Listen to what he was saying about 20 seconds before. Trump nails down some funny stuff, but he also repeats himself and mixes things up sometimes.

It really is strange that people do that. If the US ever fell into hell hole status and I was trying to walk into Canada, I certainly wouldn't be waving a US flag and chanting USA, USA, USA. I'd wave the Canadian flag, talk about how Canadian maple syrup is way better than that crap in Vermont, and how my childhood hero was Wayne Gretzky. Seems to be the smarter choice.

Did you see the protests at the various US consulates in central America? People demanding the US let's the caravan in while also burning the US flag. If it works though, I may have to change my job interview technique. I'll walk in and yell "YOU WILL HIRE ME YOU DEVIL" while urinating on the HR managers desk. Are you hiring Iceaxe?
