Reports of shots fired near the WH. Trump was apparently temporarily escorted to the bunker.

We have no idea how many assassination plans have been attempted, but it's more than a few.

This was a test. People like this are paid or rewarded to carry out crazy things like this, as Project Veritas and others have revealed. When you hate Trump and you have Billions of dollars to dispense with, hiring mentally ill people to start commotions is very simple.

They are checking response times from secret service, locations, procedures. This might not be the last attempt that we hear of, before the election.

So what is the deal with Trump and DeJoy... from my perspective the USPS crap that is happening is another Trumpy Tempertantrum and how convenient is it that DeJoy is Republican. Trump is no dummy. But man he sure looks to me like he is trying to set himself up as a dicktator. Prevent an election.

All I have read by the way was one friends rant on FB that clued me into the issue. Google Trump and USPS. See that he said if the USPS doesn't get funding mail in voting can't happen...not in those exact words but that was the gist. Next thing I want to know is who runs USPS. Look that up and sure enough if we have a green horn postal employee who is big Republican running USPS.

So i ask you. Besides helping the Dick-tator (horrible image in my head now of a rotten spud resembling Trump) But that suits him. What is the benefit here?

    This is a legit question.

Sure it is...but good luck gettin a legit answer. The first few pages of Google have nothing but hit pieces on Trump saying he's trying to "rig" the election one way or another by hamstringing the USPS...which is already a friggin' mess.

One big concern is that the USPS will simply be overwhelmed, another is that most states would be going to "mail in" or ballot boxes exclusively for the first time. We've had that in Colorado for 20 years and they say it's a well oiled machine, but other states may have serious issues. There is also the concern that millions? hundreds of thousands? of fake ballots (made in China or Russia?) may flood these states with the result of them being disqualified. A legitimate concern, I think...

It's all about Covid and safety the Dems say...but it also cracks open the door for a classic cluster*ck...and they're all about mayhem these days IMO.

I'm going to be very happy when Trump wins again. He's awesome! Did you see his press conference today? He ROCKED it.

In the business world it's called "leverage". When you can't understand what Trump is doing look at it from a business perspective and not a political perspective. If you understand Trump is pragmatic and not idealistic it will also help you understand his endgame.

I get this is leverage. But I see it as a tempertantrum on his part.

Again I think both political parties have jumped the shark at this point. I don't see their use anymore they do more damage than good. This nation is as far as I can tell more split than it has ever been.

Trump is a troll. Who I see as someone that if he doesn't get his way. Resorts to extortion. In this case let's cripple the USPS to get my way.

I still don't see how some people think he is a leader. This is not how you lead. This is how you dictate.

Republicans were just the more desperate of the two groups that for some reason decided letting dickspud represent them was a good idea. Trump would have run as Democrat if it served his purpose. The only loyalty Trump has is to himself.

Excellent! And I agree...the ends justify the means.

The Czar of Russia was more or less a dictator as well...and when they threw his ass out look at what took over. What's happening in our country right now is a Battle Royale...those that would replace Mr. Dickspud appear to be FAR more undesirable.

We're at a critical junction in our country's history...the leftist politicians and their media advocates have been back on their heels for 4 years now, throwing an absolute tantrum (complete with violence and destruction) and if we're lucky, another 4 years might just undermine them to the point of irrelevance...or reform. That's my hope, at least.

Just remember... we hated Obama as much as you hate Trump.

Obama's world apology tour made me want to cry and I was ashamed America had become so weak and feeble.

Trump is exactly the type of leader I voted for and will follow into battle. Trump leads from the front, has a clear and well defined objective, and fights with no quarter given.

Trump fights to win, while Obama fought not to lose.... that's a huge difference.

Truer words have never. None of my lefty friends, or even middles, get this. I hated him to a seething, physical degree.

    President Trump's brother died tonight.

I've never in my life sent a letter or email to a politician, but tonight I went to the White House website and sent one to Trump. I offered my condolences and wished he and his family well, hoping the pain of this won't be too deep. I thanked him for his efforts, too.

I've only lost my grandparents and my mom but when a family member goes it's kinda like a little bit of the world dies.

He is not the only one who lost a brother today. That explains my dad's comment last night.

I don't hate Trump enough not to feel extremely sorry for his loss. Losing a brother is kinda like cutting off a piece of you. It plain sucks.
