If Trump pulls this off it will be historic! On par with Regans "tear down this wall".

Lot's of "if's" still, but it's a little disheartening to see so many poo poo the whole summit because they hate Trump. I mean, I dislike Trump as much as the next guy, but if he can get us to a point with decent relations with NK, props to him. Even if nothing comes of it, I can't see how giving it a shot isn't good. It's not like our tactics over the past few decades have ever helped.

That's a cool hat. I'd buy it. Hell, the reason I voted for Trump was to prevent these freaks from calling the shots.

I love that Hillary is watching this on some crappy 20" analogue screen on a t.v. tray jammed in the corner.
Probably shopped, but still funny. It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

^^^ Is this for real?
You either love him or hate him with this behavior. There's no middle ground. He's probably the most polarizing president this country has ever had. It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Yeah it's for real. And he's right. De Niro is bat shit crazy.
Who has ever attacked a Prez like the way they do Trump? He could either hit back or ignore it. I'm glad he lets it fly. Works for me.Suddenly my feet are feet of mud

Actually Lincoln was the most polarizing President of all time. Don't forget his election resulted in a Civil War.
But Trump is definitely near the top. Funny part is if you study Lincoln's presidency you will see numerous parallels with Trump. Lincoln was vilified by the press and opposition on a scale easily equal to Trump. And now Lincoln is regarded by many as one of our greatest presidents ever.
Go figure.

Those playing along at home will remember I posted this back in February.....
So yesterday a friend made the comment....
Nobody had heard of Abraham Lincoln in 1854. Where is such an American leader today? Please step out of the mist.
This comment really got me thinking. If a Lincoln stepped out of the shadows today two out of every three people reading this post would not be able to stand him. Which is kind of funny when you think that such a hated individual was actually the one that united the country.
At the time Lincoln was more hated than Trump. Lincoln was also one of the few presidents who was treated less fair by the press than Trump. I'm not saying Trump is Lincoln, I'm just pointing out what would happen if another Lincoln stepped out of the shadows today. The media and the majority would treat him similar to how they treat Trump. Anyhoo... food for thought.

That was pretty funny, I'll agree with that. Your statement about Fox being state run tv is exactly what's wrong with our country, because from 2008-2016, one could say the same for CNN, NBC, or a number of other cable news channels. And you could make a video just like that using any one of them.
Everyone is so invested in there own ideas and politics that even when someone does something that will likely benefit all of us, we're never happy about it if it's "the other guy".

Sadly very true.
About the only thing capable of breaking the two party system is a major economic crisis followed by a fringe party taking control of the white house. Which is how Hitler was able to be voted into power. His first two attempts at Chancellor failed miserably...until the U.S. stock market crashed, and then all of a sudden the National Socialist German Workers' Party (or Nazi Party) looked very attractive.
