Well, this worked out well.

U.S. Solar Power Plant Backed by Over $700 Million in Government Loans Goes Bust: Filing

(Reuters) - The owner of a big Nevada solar-thermal power plant that received $737 million in loans from the U.S. Department of Energy filed for bankruptcy on Thursday, according to a court filing, potentially leaving U.S. taxpayers with a whopping bill.

The project's failure is a blow to the DOE renewable energy loan program, which had already been criticized by Republicans as a waste of money after it backed failed solar panel maker Solyndra during the Obama administration.

Tonopah Solar Energy LLC still owes $425 million on its DOE loan, but reached a settlement under which the department will recover at least $200 million, it said in court documents filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware.

The deal is subject to court approval.

^^^I made a lot of money designing access platforms and stairs for that plant. It was a huge clusterf**k from day one. They designed and built the plant with no way to access and service it.

Tell me again how an entity that produces nothing of no net value, is $25T+ in the whole should be able 'lend' any money to any person or company.

There isn't any lending going on, hence your quotes. So very few people understand the ramifications of this printing.

The recently passed Walter Williams had the best description of money I ever read. Something like...

    - Money is a certificate from society, saying you have served your fellow man well. For serving, you now get to demand from someone else they serve you. That other person demands proof you served, and you present your certificate.

Consider how simple but powerful that is. Each of us in our daily routines deciding who has served their fellow man well, handing out certificates. Private, distributed control by the people. All of us making millions of decisions daily about who is deserving.

Vs the wild printing and spending by the elite, giving out certificates illegitimately. Just sick.

When you the wokest of woke in the center of wokeville, how do you stand out to protect the environment (or draw attention to yourself), you start eating and attacking those that aren’t quite as woke as you.

( Outside of Boulder, is there a more leftist town in CO than Aspen?)

The ones mandating the wearing of masks are the same one mandating we clean up the environment while creating a new ecological disaster in the making. Bet they did not think this pandemic through and the effects it will have beyond the effects to your body.

Biden’s admin response to the thousands of jobs lost to his cancellation of the XL Pipeline was for those workers to get green jobs(aka learn to code). How has that been working out in Germany?

/\/\/\...that is absolutely ridiculous. I wonder who's paying for that?...oh that's right, we are.

So this reminds me of flying out of DIA in the middle of winter...

"Mommy, why are thy de-icing the plane?"
    "So it doesn't crash, honey"
"Maybe we should fly on a different day?"

I've been lucky that I've never been up against that situation...every time I've flown in winter the weather has been good enough to not require that...but I always buy cancellation insurance (cheap, really) in case they're doing that to the planes...I'm not going to climb into something that they have to blast with chemicals to get off the ground.

$900 to fill ‘er up? That’s enough to make even Elon Musk blush. Maybe he’ll move back to Cali where it’s much cheaper.

Here comes the bullshit again... Colder weather confirms global warming.

For many, especially folks who live in the South, the arctic outbreak that has gripped the nation's heartland for the past week is the kind of cold that only happens once in a century. Countless record cold temperatures were set. Conditions overwhelmed the Texas power grid, cutting off electricity to millions and bursting water pipes, creating a humanitarian crisis.

MSN line from the texas cold and what is causing it.

"But with climate change making for generally warmer winters and causing heat records to outnumber cold records by 2 to 1 globally over the past decade, this historic cold snap may seem counterintuitive. It's not. In fact, paradoxically, a warmer climate may have actually contributed to the extreme cold."

Climate anthropolinguist have clearly stated we have had 6 Ice ages in the last million years, and 5 global warmings. Guess where we are at?

Isn’t that just basic common sense? 🤷🏼*♂️

Doesn't anyone else remember being scared of the predicted approaching ice age as a youth?

It was about 1970 and they scared the shit out of me with that bullshit.

    Fool me once...

    That's BS.

Ocasio Cortez already told us last year that we have 12 years ---- NOT 10 months. Don't these catastrophists ever collaborate?!
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.
