    Tushar Range

    Rode New Years eve, day.
    Snow was good farther in.
    Ridges were windswept

Nice. How did you get to the top? Based on at least one photo, I'm guessing you came up via either Junction or Beaver, otherwise you'd encounter a locked gate.

I've wanted to snow machine that area, but was always told it would be far too primitive and that I should just consider Monroe Mountain - as its groomed in winter.

We drove up 153 to the Big John turnout.
They clear a spot there big enough to park 2-3 trucks and trailers.
I'm really allergic to trails, have been all my life.
This is all backcountry riding, I took 2 new guys and they got stuck alot.
I've been riding up there since 1995.
The first 4-5 years, you would never see another sled.
We saw 3 others in the area on this day.

Nice. Give me a call sometime and we will go up there with you. We've been riding up there for a long time also. Cedar Mtn definitely has a lot more snow right now
