I really fail to see how Narbonne coach Manuel Douglas can be upset with Utah as Troy Williams was the starting QB for a full season, sometimes you're just not the best QB on the team. Unless they promised Williams are starting role if he signed (and they never do that) I really can't see anything Utah did wrong. College football is big business, you have to do what is best for the bottom line and not worry about hurting someones feelings.

PK: Let Francis Bernard play where he wants
"In Bernard’s case, BYU issued a press release last week stating he would redshirt this season and return as a junior next year. In an interview with the Salt Lake Tribune, Bernard’s brother said the player doesn’t want to redshirt and would like to transfer to Utah. His brother’s issues are related to the school’s Honor Code, James Bernard Jr. said."

Game Day
Utah 42
ND 10
Some days I feel bad for the visiting cupcakes that have to come in here and get demolished in the season opener. Today is one of those days. It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

130 yards of penalties racked up (including two pass interference calls within 30 seconds of each other). At one point they were sitting at 1st and 44 due to penalties.
Carrington and Moss are beasts. And hopefully the injury bug doesn't bite as bad as last year. It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

ESPN says BYU has the edge this year. Not really sure how they can claim that...

I think they are biased to the team that might have a bigger market share, not on ability though.

Vegas has Utah a 3 point underdog to BYU. Based on both teams first game I think that is a great bet. I'm going to put a few dollars on Utah.
I think Utah is being underrated because they lost 8 starters to the NFL off last years team. The O line still needs some work, but the secondary looked solid.

I didn't know Huntley and Moss played high school ball together.
''It was great, bringing back some memories,'' Moss said. ''We've been doing it since high school, so it was kind of familiar to me.''
