    9.5.2016 Baptist Draw

We did the Baptist Draw to Chute Canyon and then out through Fault Line Canyon on Labor Day. The canyons were totally dry other than a little mud.

    First anchor.

    Anchor at the big rappel.

    Last rappel.

Isn't Fault lovely? It is a great way to build character.

I can't wait to go back and do the down Baptist up Chute route. I've heard that it is much more fun.

Great report, thanks for sharing. Welcome to Bogley!

Thanks for the welcomes! I'm brand new to canyoneering, only done Keyhole other than this trip, so looking to get some more experience in the next couple of months before it gets too cold.

If you one want to "see it all", I think it's worth it to go down Baptist, up Chute, then back down Chute all the way to the fault canyons. If you've seen all of Chute, I think it's funner to go down Baptist, up Chute, then down Southern Baptist, then down Chute to the fault canyon (you can go up Chute a bit here as well).

Great canyoneering pictures! Where are you located? I've done a few canyons up by Zion, and I'm looking for some canyoneering partners if you're interested

Whoa! That is a big day! @qedcook

It is a shame that it has to end with Fault Canyon, a place I hope to never see again!
