Sun Devil's are kicking the crap out of the Duck's.... Sun Devil's are up by two touchdowns with 12 minutes left in the game.

The Ducks go down to the Sun Devil's.... this hurts the PAC 12... We needed a one lose Oregon against a one lose Utah in the Championship game and the winner would have went to the playoffs.

I bet Whittingham isn't shedding any tears over this as he has pretty much been Petersen's little bitch the past 14 years.

What if he ends up at USC?

Nah he's already openly declared himself a Huskie. He wouldn't gain much by making the move to SoCal:

    Peterson current salary: $4.875 Million

Clay Helton current salary: $3.2 Million
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Petersen is worth more than Helton. If he wanted the USC job, they would pony up the money.

Damn.... Whitt makes more then Helton. Whitt's base is 3.4 Million, of course Whitt is also twice the coach. I know some folks bitch about Whitt, but we are damn lucky to have him. Whitt has turned down some big pay days to stay with Utah.

From Coach Petersen's press conference, talking about who knew (besides his wife) that the Apple Cup was his last game. "Before the game I'm talking to Mike Leach and comes up and says, 'hey how much longer are you going to do this?' and I'm thinking oh my gosh, this guy is a mind reader too. We are in trouble!"

^^^Speaking of Mike Leach, @accadacca will be sad to know that his buddy Mr. Leach is leaving Washington State to coach for a real conference.

^^^This is oddly worded. It's implying that they can elevate WSU to the highest levels of college football now that Mike Leach is gone.

Because it wasn't possible with him as the coach?

That was not how Leach told the world he was leaving. It's how Washington State told the world they just managed to lose the best coach in program history.

Leach told the world he was leaving with the announcement he would be the next head coach of Mississippi State.

Washington State has named Hawai'i's Nick Rolovich as its head coach.

Rolovich is expected to sign a five-year deal worth approximately $3 million annually, a source told ESPN's Adam Rittenberg.

Rolovich guided the Rainbow Warriors to a 10-win season in 2019 and compiled a 28-27 record during his four-year stint as the program's coach. Hawai'i lost to Boise State in the Mountain West title game this season and beat BYU 38-34 in the SoFi Hawai'i Bowl.

Rolovich, 40, will replace Mike Leach, who was named coach at Mississippi State on Thursday. Leach went 55-47 in his eight seasons in Pullman and took the Cougars to a school-record five consecutive bowl games over the past five seasons. After a school-record 11-win season and a No. 10 national ranking in 2018, the Cougars went 6-7 in 2019, capped by a 31-21 loss to Air Force in the Cheez-It Bowl.

Prior to taking over at Hawai'i, Rolovich spent four seasons as offensive coordinator at Nevada. He operates an offense that has a lot of similarities to the Air Raid scheme Leach is famous for. The Rainbow Warriors averaged 471 yards of offense per game in 2019, and had the country's No. 5-ranked passing attack (337.1 yards per game). Over the past two seasons, Washington State was the only team in the country that attempted more passes than Hawai'i.
