If I had of been given a choice... out of all the PAC 12 teams I wanted to see Utah play next week for the championship Washington would have been last on my list. Peterson has Whit's number...

The facts are the facts. If somebody posts hogwash then by all means call them out.
The facts are Petersen is 5-1 against Whittingham

Things still probably smell rosy for Ute fans, but PAC12 seems to be falling further behind the other P5's. Interesting article here:

You know, I've pondered this ever since Utah joined the PAC12 -- why is it that seemingly every year the Pac12 offers up the very best of the conference only to see them get routinely decimated by SEC and/or Big 10/12 teams? Geographically it's a bit of an anomaly -- why would location affect the performance and quality of athletes attending the local universities?
Is it the water, or is it just that the best talent gravitates towards the Central and Eastern schools? It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Basically the PAC 12 slots in at number 3 among P5 conferences, I can live with that. I would prefer to be number 1, we can work toward that. I would like to see a new conference commissioner as I think Scott sucks.
We all know winning seasons among teams ebb and flow over time, usually tied to leadership, the same is true of conferences.
Bottomline is I hardly see it as the sky is falling. YMMV

UW will never see Ohio State. The playoff teams will be Alabama, Clemson, ND and Ohio State.
UW goes to the Rose Bowl WaZoo to the Alama and ???
Utah probably gets hosed....
If the world is fair Utah will play Northwestern in the Holiday Bowl.

Pac-12 Football
It’ll be interesting. Oklahoma has won 7 in a row. Ohio State has that beatdown from (6-6) Purdue 49-20 on their resume.
