It is official. I will be an Austinite - Austintonian?.....ok - a resident of Austin TX in October! Looking forward to the move from New Orleans. Not quite like being back in Utah, but it's Texas hill country and quite beautiful. I have friends and family there as well. Plus, with this coming election, Texas just may decide to secede and I want to be there if it does!

As he did many others at that battle. But - the Alamo still stands......and on American soil. I am fortunate to get to go there in better times.
Plus, I was assured that I DO NOT have to become a Dallas Cowboys fan!

My wife is from Austin. Graduated from Davy Crockett High School.

Out of all the places I've visited in Texas, Austin is my favorite. Lots of things to do there.
